In Apr 2023, we did a 30v30 classic clan war. BitDizzy suggested something new: warriors 16 to 30 attack just for stars. Then the top 15 warriors mop up:
The idea is that if only the top 4 warriors achieve anything less than 3 stars on both assigned bases, then the remaining 11 warriors would have scored 6 stars each, i.e. totalling 66 stars. And if the top 4 warriors average 2 stars for each of their 8 bases, that translates to another 16 stars, totalling 82 out of the maximum 90 stars.
As of this writing, we are still in the midst of that war, with 7.5 hours left. Thus far, we have 47 stars against the other side's 69. Will update again later.
An early observation is that sometimes slip-ups occur, hence, this modification proposal.
Instead of all the lower 15 warriors attack just for the stars, I propose only the low 10 warriors (ranked 21st to 30th), and they do so within the first 6 hours of the 24-hour Battle Day.
After that, the 11th to 20th warriors survey the battlefield to see which of the lower 15 bases (Bases 16th to 30th) have not been 3-starred. Hopefully a few have been. Then in the next 6 hours (Hours 7 to 12), these 10 warriors have 20 attacks to mop up 15 bases.
Finally, in the remaining 12 hours, the top 10 warriors coordinate to see how to maximise the remaining attacks. Hopefully, warriors 11th to 15th might have managed to 3star a few bases above 16th.
This wiki is available for anybody to edit. Feel free to contribute you ideas here.
The ongoing strategy is for each of us to attack our counterpart of the same number, then clean up with out second attack.
